Being focused it is bit like Xmas shopping in warp drive mode …… Such a pity that we don’t do life urgency in the same way as we do preparing for the Christ Mass or going on holiday or other events that have a finite date.
You can swerve a happy birthday by a day or so, postpone a meeting by a couple of days in fact practically everyone understands when you are late because of traffic or a delayed flight.
But during a lifetime being late has consequences not just for the next but being somewhere in a line for whatever is sought … ascendance, enlightenment, nirvana, Buddhahood, transmuting the lead of personality into the gold of the Spirit.
Motion creates emotion; both being necessary for advancing forward.
If one treats every day as being the day before a holiday, a week before Christmas there IS no sense of urgency, only purpose and focus and finished to-do lists ………
Today, now, STOP amidst the flurry and busyness that passively consumes us all and wake up to that and those which surround us… Then perhaps you will understand that hundreds and hundreds that were never in the way before, actually are.
